Managing your Nix Pro Color Database

Making Folders in App (Android and iOS)

1.   Make a folder with all the colors for your database
i.   Scan a color
ii.   Click the save icon (top right-hand corner)

2.   complete step 1 for all colors

5.   click “export scanned colors”

For Android

1.   click folder you want to export – folder will export to downloads

1.   click folder you want to export – an option’s menu will appear

Once file is on your computer

1.   open file in excel

3.   paste xyz values into nix_csv_template file – align with previously typed names

2.   email the custom database to an email address linked with your device – attach the database

3.   from your email application on your device, download the attached csv file into your downloads folder

6.   access “settings” from the main menu

7.  from “settings” — select “import color library”

8.  from the menu icon, select “downloads”

9.  select your csv file from the downloads folder (i.e. our file is “nix_sensor_custom_database.csv”)

4.  tap and hold the attachment until the menu pops up – choose “copy to nix pro color sensor” – the app will open (see figure 2)

5.  name the library and click ok (see figure 3)

6.  your custom database is now in your color library!

最新微信红包扫雷the nix pro color sensor app gives users the ability to create custom databases and copy them directly to the color library on the user’s app. if the user has a fan deck or other color samples they would like to match to. in the below example, a custom database is created from a fan deck:

1.   scan the first color for the database. place the nix pro firmly on the color sample/swatch you would like to scan to block out all ambient light to achieve the best scan.

  . once downloaded, open the spreadsheet “nix_csv_template.csv” in excel. see figure 1 for a screen capture of the template.

2.   fill out country and province with your respective location (figure 1 – blue)

4.   fill out color name and color number (figure 1 – green)

  • Scan each color individually and record the XYZ values from the scan screen. Figure 2 shows the Scan Screen.
  • Alternatively, see next tab for “Exporting Colors from App” to see how to do all XYZ data at once

6.   leave the notes section in the template blank so the app can read the file

8.   once your database is complete you will need to save it – ensure it is saved in the .csv format (ex. nix sensor_sample database.csv)

2.   Save the color.

b.   Description (up to the user, can be left blank or put the color number)
c.   Folder (named by user, this will be the name of your color library or fandeck). In our example, we’ve named our folder “Colour Preview”). Note: Always最新微信红包扫雷 save into the same folder for each Color Library.

3.   Repeat steps 1 & 2 for the rest of the colors you’d like to add to the database.

4.   Go into settings from the main menu, select “Copy Swatch to Library”

5.   Tap the database you have created to add it into the Color Library.

6.   You will get a notification that the library was successfully imported.

The database can now be found in your color library. Under Brand name, select “User Defined.” Your library will be listed here. Happy matching!
